Dr. Liliana Ibeth Barbosa Santillán holds the next dregrees:
- B.S. in Computer Science from Puebla Autonomous University
- Informatics Engineers from Technical University of Madrid
- MS degree in computer science from the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics, Mexico
- DEA in Applied Mathematics from the Department Faculty of Computer Sciences at Technical University of Madrid, Spain
- PhD in Computer Science from the Faculty of Computer Sciences at Technical University of Madrid, Spain
- PhD in Strategic Planning and Technology Direction at UPAEP
Liliana was awarded with several scholarships from the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics, the National Council of Science and Technology, Carolina Foundation, and Technical University of Madrid. Liliana has presented conferences in different states in México, and Europe. She has collaborated applied research projects with a wide variety of organisations like National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics; Ontology Engineering Group; The Computational logic, Languages, Implementation, and Parallelism Laboratory; Embedded and Real-Time Systems Collaborative Laboratory; FAO: Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations for a world without hunger; Mexican Army; the Ministry of the Economy and the State Council for Science and Technology of Jalisco; The TechBA Silicon Valley program, among others. She has been member of the National Research System in Mexico (SNI I). Her research interests include semantic (web) applications, ontology systems, security, parallel programming with GPU, and quality software. She is an active IEEE member. She have coached more than 30 talents. For example Carlos Fernando de Santiago achievement algorithm recommendation application from Dressable and now is company. In addition, Leonardo was her student who founded Kueski.com that is listed in the Top market values Serie A.
